Dubai's Hidden Gem Nawab Opens their First Fully Licensed Community Restaurant and Bar, Serving Indian Culinary Excellence from Grills to Gravy

Nawab Restaurant, originally found in 1989’s old Dubai, well known for serving authentic heritage Indian cuisine, has now opened their very first licensed venue with cocktails inspired by Indian spices, craft hops and chilled grapes that can be enjoyed with their signature Nawabi dishes, all while being the perfect affordable community gastropub.

Nawab restaurant, located at the Jebel Ali Recreation Club, is spread over 400 square feet, and welcomes you with its beautiful ambience and 6 TV screens perfect to enjoy your favorite games. Furthermore, your new local, the Nawab Restaurant, is only a 10-minute drive from the Expo 2020 site.

Leading the team is Chef Bharat Sarkar, hailing from Delhi, India. He uses his expertise in harmonizing both modern and traditional Indian flavors to serve his guests with the good old Nawab taste but with a modern twist. Every dish on the menu has been carefully handcrafted and lovingly created, to leave a lasting impression on your mind and mouth all while being healthy (you won’t find any heavy oils and butter used here).

Chef Bharat and the team choose the finest quality of ingredients and produce to serve you with flavors that vary from punch and heat to exotic flavors.

Nawab's food is well known for its quality and they have served the same flavors for over 30 years and even during these changing times, their consistency has been intact. Nawab has on-boarded some very experienced chefs who have brought in more flavor to their Nawabi delicacies where they hope to take their guests on a journey that depicts the evolution of Indian cuisine as we know it today.

On the launch, Owner Rajesh Sachdeva says,”Nawab Authentic Indian Restaurants have been a cornerstone in representing the Indian food culture in Dubai since 1989 and have been a part of my  life ever since I had migrated to this region. Later In 2017, my daughter and I decided to acquire Nawab and restore it to its original glory - one where Nawab served poetry on a plate with it’s magical Indian flavors."
